Today we decided to give you some tips on how to best use the products included in our Zero Waste Grocery Shopping Kit.
When it comes to low waste grocery shopping it is important to always choose a place where most of the things sold are sold in bulk. Traditional supermarkets are not the best place usually as even the simplest things like veggies and fruits are prepackaged in a lot of harmful plastic wrapping. So try to spot a store or farmers market that will have most of the things sold available in bulk.

The produce bags (either the cotton one or the net sack) are great for larger fruits and veggies or even your bread.
The net bag itself is a great carrier bag or just a great plastic bag replacement when trying to transport your groceries to your house.
The glass jars are perfect for buying legumes, rice, pasta. Anything dry really can fit in in there. It is also really convenient that we have printed its tare weight on it so you don't have to ask the cashier to weigh it before you fill it up with whatever you want. Simply fill it up, weigh it, substract the tare weight and there you go!
For more advanced zero waster we can totally suggest using our Stainless Steel Containers to buy things like cheese or yoghurt if you can find them in bulk!
So there you go, these were some useful tips you can apply next time you would like to go shopping without creating a lot of waste by simply using our wonderful Zero Waste Grocery Shopping Kit. Click here to buy it.
